Your generosity, displayed through the Unwrapped Challenge, has been overwhelming. We are so thankful for those who embrace our desire to help bring change to our community through the love of Christ. Your involvement in the Unwrapped Challenge provided food and Christmas for over 188 kids! This effort was done through our partnership with Byrns Darden Elementary School and Kenwood High School.
Below are "thank you" notes from our friends at Kenwood High School and Bryns Darden Elementary School.
Dear Grace Community Church:
Words cannot begin to express our gratitude to the Grace Community Church. Thank you so much for your generosity toward the Christmas Gifts, donations of food to the FUEL program, and the winter coats to our families in need. Because of you all we were able to assist our students and their families during this Christmas Season.
The staff and students of Kenwood are privileged to have a partner in education such as the members of Grace Community Church. Thank you again for your donations and thoughtfulness this season!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,
Kenwood High School staff & students
Dear Grace Community Church,
I would like to take this time to express my gratitude to my church family for sponsoring families within my school community and making sure that their children had gifts for Christmas. Grace families partnered with and provided for almost 200 of my students and their siblings and that is a huge blessing to them. I have had numerous parents thank me the past couple of days by coming to see me or calling me with sincere appreciation.
You not only provided toys and wants from their wish lists, but also necessities and clothing that is needed on a daily basis. For this I am forever grateful.
So a big thank you to the members of Grace Community Church for blessing so many of my students and their families this Christmas season. Thank you for partnering with my school!
Yours truly,
Andy Lyons
