Thank You Operation Serve Volunteers

Thank You for Serving

Thank you to the thousand-plus volunteers who spent countless hours on projects that ran from Thursday to Saturday. Many hours went into preparing for the actual day and projects. Countless people donated time, resources, sweat, and a few tears to make Operation Serve 2009 a reality. You made a difference in the lives of people in Clarksville and the surrounding area.

Thank you to everyone who worked on Project 19. We were barred from the house for 2 days, so we didn't get to say thanks or give hugs. The house & all the work is beautiful. We feel so blessed, & thank you just doesn't seem enough. But it was amazing. It was a huge blessing & it was an overwhelming Love. Everyone is welcome to visit (just give a 30 minute warning please..hahaha)!

It's hard to put into words, but it was amazing, it was a great blessing, and it gave us an overwhelming love for everyone. I spoke to a homeowner on Plum street today. I just wanted to see her house, and she just couldn't stop talking about it. She told me she went to church yesterday and (her words) fussed at her "church people" because they should be doing mission work here in Clarksville like we do. I invited her anytime she wants to come. Love, Mr. John and Boots
