We desire for everyone who comes to Grace Community Church to not only participate in large group environments (e.g. the Sunday morning Gathering) but also to be actively involved in smaller (community) groups. Relationships are a priority at Grace, and though relationships can be messy, we believe small groups can offer the benefits of authentic community: encouragement, accountability, connection and fun. Ultimately, we believe sustaining life change occurs through community groups.
Community Groups at Grace Community Church are the backbone of our "Connect" strategy as we take steps of faith together towards Jesus. We desire for every person at Grace to be involved in one of these weekly groups. In these groups spend time eating together, sharing the joys and sorrows of life together, supporting one another, studying scripture together, serving together and praying together.
These are typically groups that consist of around 12 people and last about 18 months. There are singles, couples, and mixed groups of all ages. They meet in people's homes throughout the week, usually from Sunday through Thursday.
In addition to our regular community groups, we also offer many different types of groups to fit your needs, including those for people who are struggling with addictions, for military wives, and more, to view those groups, check out our Group Life page
How do I join a Community Group?
The best time to sign up for a group is leading up to our ConnectNow event, which typically happens several times a year on a Sunday morning. During that event, we will share the vision behind groups, connect you with your group and allow you to meet your group leader.
