What is REVOLVE all about?
REVOLVE, our 4th & 5th grade environment, is designed to lead preteens into a growing relationship with Jesus. We’ll cover topics such as: why we need a Savior, who Jesus was and still is today, and what we can learn from Jesus’ teachings written in the Gospels. The heart of what we do in REVOLVE is to support small groups, where deep friendships can be formed between our preteens and leaders . . . from these authentic relationships we can all dive into the heart of Jesus without fear or hesitation.
Flow for the day . . .
We offer chill time for the first ten minutes, where kids can play video games, board games, or simply hang out. Next, we offer a large group environment where the goal is to build the “tension” that will lead our preteens to the Big Idea for the week. After that, kids go into their small groups and resolve the tension through meaningful discussions and by investigating the Word of God. REVOLVE is about preteens experiencing three things:
- A SENSE OF WONDER OF WHO JESUS IS . . .
- DISCOVERY OF WHO WE ARE IN JESUS CHRIST . . .
- A PASSION FOR OTHERS THAT FINDS ITS ORIGIN IN THE HEART OF A SAVIOR . . .
When and Where does REVOLVE happen?
Currently REVOLVE meets each week at Rossview High in the ROTC Hallway. We will eventually launch REVOLVE at Kenwood High as well, but for now Kenwood’s 4th and 5th graders are a part of Cross Street. The doors open 15 minutes prior the start of each service.

Children are very important at Grace Community Church. We strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which families can worship and grow. We require all parents to provide information on their children in order for us to appropriately minister to families. This information is updated on a regular basis.
