7/11/2010 - “Samson”
Too many of us worry more about what we've done in our past than what we have the opportunity to do today. To begin well is fine, but it's more important that we finish well.

Perhaps no one lived the role of an outsider better than John the Baptist. His clothes. His home. His message. But from the outside, he caused insiders to re-evaluate their lives.
Sometimes our greatest strength can be our biggest weakness. A relatively unknown historical figure named Jephthah teaches us this powerful truth.

Military Appreciation Video
We salute our military families for the sacrifices they make on a daily basis to secure our freedom. So many of those who have gathered with us each week are serving our country in the armed forces and/or in civilian support roles.
It is easy to forget the sacrifice at times when we become so busy in our daily routines; yet, for our military families dealing with deployment is the daily routine. Ordinary duties become more difficult when you have a loved-one serving away from home for several months at a time. Spouses pull "double duty" dealing with running the household, outside jobs, and for some, children. Several of those also serve within the community and within our church body. We humbly say "thank you."
You are our heroes.
