KICK START Classes are held throughout the year allowing children ages 6 through 12 to explore what it means to become a Christ-follower. If your child is asking questions or has already made a decision, you may want to consider attending the KICK START classes.
What is KICK START?
KICK START is a series of classes where children (ages 6-12) and their parents can learn what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. You and your family are invited to attend KICK START to find out what every child needs to know about sin, Jesus, faith, Heaven, and baptism.
How long will KICK START last?
KICK START consists of three 1-hour sessions presented once a week on Sunday morning for 3 consecutive weeks.
What will be covered during KICK START?
What is means to become a Christian
The Meaning of Sin
What it takes to get to Heaven
How to follow Jesus' example in baptism
How to study the Bible and pray
Can my child attend alone?
No, at least one parent/guardian must be present at each of the sessions. Both parents are welcome.
How many children will be in each session?
We will have separate classes based on age. Each class will be limited to four children and their parents.
What if we can't attend one of the sessions?
It is best to sign up for KICK START when you know you will be able to attend all three sessions. KICK START will be offered several times each year. Other arrangements can be made under special circumstances if three consecutive weeks is not an option for your family.
