Do you have a student ministry at Grace? We get asked that often. My title is not "student pastor.” I am the family pastor ... BUT I do direct Relevant Student Ministry. Since we do not have a facility, people don’t think about the student ministry aspect of GCC. We are passionate about reaching teens and we are reaching teens. About two years ago we founded Relevant to provide a place where teens could discover community. Every teen needs other voices in their life pointing them to Christ. We try to impact the lives of teens by helping them to serve now; and providing them an environment where they rethink what it means to follow Christ. We also strive to partner with parents so they can be actively talking to their teens about their faith.
If you have plugged into GCC and you have teens, make sure and stop by the Relevant table on Sunday mornings in the hall at Rossview. I would love to meet you and talk about how we serve teens here at GCC. We also hope you will help your teen check out our weekly gathering called REMIX. We gather every Wednesday at 7 PM at a local facility we rent. We want to connect!
